How to be a WOWPinoy Merchant
Becoming a WOWPinoy Merchant just takes a few easy steps:
Step 1. Be accredited with DOT.
All WOWPinoy merchants are accredited with the Department of Tourism. To be a DOT-accredited merchant, you need to make a request to DOT for inspection of your establishment. Once your establishment has passed the DOT inspection, you have to fill out an application and submit with it a list of supporting documents. Upon full compliance of all requirements, you should pay accreditation and other related fees when the certificate is ready for release.

Step 2. Fill-up the WOWPinoy online form.
After getting accreditation from DOT, you must now fill out the WOWPinoy online form. You will be asked to supply an email and a password and provide your establishment’s basic business information.
Step 3. Verification of information.
After you have successfully filled out and submitted the online registration form, you will need to wait for the information to be verified. Verification of the information shall be made within 24 hours of submission. After it has been verified, a WOWPinoy representative will contact you and provide your Merchant Login details.

1. What is WOWPinoy?

But more than that, WOWPinoy aims to be every tourist’s one-stop, one-click place to ensure an easy, fun, safe and truly memorable stay in the Philippines .
2. I would like to travel to the Philippines , how can you help me plan for my trip?
WOWPinoy offers you a virtual catalogue of the Philippines giving you various choices to start planning for your trip. You can choose from the 15 must-see places of the country or you can decide based on an event or according to an activity you want to do. Just click on the links at the top navigation bar, browse through the rich information you will find, and start making plans for your trip.
3. I already have a place in mind to visit, but can you help me with accommodations?
Sure! Once you have decided where exactly in the Philippines you want to visit, you can immediately choose hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars, shops, tourist spots, and even know the events in that place and how to get there. To use the WOWPinoy’s search function located at the top of the main navigation bar, all you need to do is enter in the first box what type of establishment you are looking for and then enter in the second box the specific destination you are planning to visit. You can now choose from a list of establishments in the results page. You can also click “Places To Go” located on the top navigation bar and then click “accommodations.”
4. Can I make bookings or reservations in the hotel/s I have chosen?
At the moment, WOWPInoy does not offer online bookings. However, you may make reservations or inquiries by sending an online message. On the “accommodations” page or results page of the search function, go to the page of the specific establishment you wish to contact and just click on the orange “send message” button below the name of the establishment. A pop-up window will appear where you can write a message to the establishment you wish to contact.
5. How can I be assured that the establishments listed are not the “fly-by-night” types?
All establishments listed by WOWPinoy have all been accredited by the Department of Tourism. They have all gone through careful inspection and have submitted the necessary requirements for accreditation. This means we only recommend establishments you can trust.
6. What is the WOWPinoy Instant Messenger and can I really communicate with it for free?
The WOWPinoy Instant Messenger is a computer application which allows you to send messages from your PC to a mobile phone via SMS or text message at no cost at all. Just go to the Instant Messenger page, click on the download link, and install in your PC.
Messages sent from your PC to another PC or mobile phone are FREE! Messages sent from a mobile phone to the WOWPinoy Instant Messenger will cost Php 2.50.
7. I’m not a tourist but I’m interested in being part of your list of accredited establishments. What do I need to do?
We will be happy to include you in our list of establishments! You just need to follow these easy steps:

8. I am already a WOWPinoy Merchant but how do I update some information about my establishment?
No hassle! Just log on the WOWPinoy Merchant log-in field located below the homepage using your username and password. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be directed to a page where all information about your establishment is presented. You can then easily edit it and save it.
